Flagler College students earn first place in National Student Advertising Competition

A team of Flagler College students earned first place at the district level of the American Advertising Federation's National Student Advertising Competition. In the College's first time competing, students developed and presented a fully integrated campaign for the NFL, also receiving the Best Brand Activation Award and advancing to the semifinal round.

Jamey Amador, an accounting student at Flagler College, earned a fourth-place finish at the Institute of Internal Auditors Global Student Conference Case Competition on April 21, 2026. Competing against more than 160 students from 86 universities across 19 countries, Amador and her team stood out on an international stage.

Flagler College Mock Trial team advances to Opening Round Championship Series

One of two Flagler College Mock Trial teams placed third out of 24 teams at the American Mock Trial Association Regional Tournament hosted at Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, advancing to the Opening Round Championship Series. Competing as Team 1511, the Saints secured victories or split ballots against powerhouse programs including Florida State University, the University of Florida, Emory University, and Stetson University. Those programs regularly advance to the national championship rounds.

Lion's Cage Competition

During Flagler's Business Week 2023, three student teams were collectively awarded more than $5,000 in seed money to bring their entrepreneurial ideas to life. This winning group of students competed against more than 40 peers across 16 teams in Business Week's "reverse-pitch competition." Ahead of Business Week, teams were tasked with creating a business solution to one of four key issues: affordable housing, homeowners' insurance, resiliency in coastal communities, and the future of work.
