Flagler College Named One of the Nation's Best by The Princeton Review
St. Augustine, FL (08/14/2025) — Flagler College has once again been recognized among the nation's top undergraduate institutions by The Princeton Review.
The College is profiled in the 2026 edition of The Best 391 Colleges (Penguin Random House, Aug. 12, 2025) and on The Princeton Review's website.
Only about 15% of America's nearly 2,400 four-year colleges are selected for this prestigious guide. Schools are chosen based on The Princeton Review's surveys of 2,000 college administrators about academic offerings, as well as in-depth surveys of students who rate their experiences on campus and in the classroom.
"We're honored to be included on The Princeton Review's Best Colleges list," said President John Delaney. "What makes this recognition so meaningful is that it reflects the voices of our students-their perspectives on our academics, our community, and the opportunities they have to grow here at Flagler."
In its profile of Flagler College, The Princeton Review editors praised the institution for offering "an excellent education in a beautiful location," supported by a required Core Experience that helps students adapt to college life and prepare for real-world learning. Students highlighted Flagler's faculty as "very knowledgeable in their fields" and "extremely enthusiastic about their jobs," noting that professors are "always willing to meet outside of the classroom." One student remarked that learning at Flagler is "an intellectual journey" that inspires curiosity and fosters collaboration between faculty and peers.
"Flagler College has outstanding academic programs, and the feedback we received from students we surveyed was very impressive," said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review's editor-in-chief and lead author of The Best 391 Colleges. "We are delighted to name Flagler as one of our Best Colleges for 2026 and to recommend it to students searching for their 'best-fit' college."
